BY PATHBEAT.IN
1. Hemakuta Hill
This hill is home to a group of temples, but it's also a great spot for panoramic views of Hampi.
The highlight for many visitors is the breathtaking view from the top. It's one of the best places in Hampi to witness both sunrise and sunset.
2. Matanga Hill Trek
Matanga Hill, highest point in Hampi,  offers a stunning 360-degree view of the ruins, the Tungabhadra River, and the surrounding countryside.
The trek is about 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) round trip. The early morning (sunrise) or late afternoon (sunset) are the best times to go for the views and to avoid the heat.
3. Hampi Bazaar
The bustling marketplace itself is a sight to behold, offering a glimpse into the past and the vibrant culture of Hampi.
The bazaar features a long street flanked by stone pavilions that were once shops. These pavilions have arcades and are a testament to the architectural prowess of the Vijayanagara period.
4. Anjaneyadri Hill
Another great viewpoint, Anjaneyadri Hill is second only to Matanga Hill in terms of vantage point.
It offers a panoramic view of the boulder-strewn landscape of Hampi.
5. Tungabhadra River
The Tungabhadra River is a beautiful backdrop to many of the ruins in Hampi.
You can take a coracle ride on the river for a unique perspective of the ruins. The ride will take you through beautiful views of the banks.
